Brookside was developed in the early 2000s and after a pause during the recession (like most subdivisions) building continues with additional divisions on the backside (North end) through 2022.

Brookside is North of 49th S about half way between 15th E and Hitt Road. It’s entrance is from 49th South, although the newer portion of the subdivsion is accessible from the North as well. The neighborhood enjoys all city services and is one of the few neighborhoods within the Idaho Falls city limits to attend D93 schools.
