Welcome to Victorian Village, one of the newer subdivisions and a popular “move-up” area on the South Side of Idaho Falls.
Location
Victorian Village is located just North of 49th South between 
Homes (1st E) and Park Ave (5th West). It is also accessible by traveling South through Stonebrook. The neighborhood resides within the Idaho Falls School District 91 and popular Sunnyside Elementary school boundaries.
Features
First, you will notice the wide streets with not much traffic. In addition, most of the streets are only a couple of blocks long, limiting through traffic. And that contributes to the quiet neighborhood charm.
Homes
Victorian Village was developed in the 1990’s with building continuing into the early 2000’s. Therefore, much of the landscaping is now coming into maturity. The neighborhood consists of mid-sized ranch homes, many two-story homes and some split level floorplans. Most homes within the subdivision feature a fully finished basement.
Home heating is mixture of electric (on the north end) and natural gas forced-air (toward the south end). However, because it lies within the City limits, residents do enjoy the lower electric rates the city offers due to hydroelectric power generation. You won’t be disappointed by some of the cheapest rates in the country!
Many of the residents enjoy motorized recreation on the weekends, as evidenced by the boats, RVs, and four-wheelers in the area. Outdoor enthusiasts are drawn to the neighborhood as most homes have a third car garage and/or RV parking pad that can accommodate their additional storage needs. 
As a newer development, the neighborhood also features green space with a storm water retention area.
